The Light of Love

An enlightened heart does not harbor hatred. It has gone through a long process of learning to compromise with it. It has been trained to listen to the whispers of nature.

What makes a house feel warm is not its grandeur, but the simple and sincere welcome of its inhabitants. The same goes for people. One appears radiant not merely because of their beauty or the accessories they wear. The true quality of a person shines when the soul is given space to emerge in its purest form.

Someone who practices yoga should understand that simplicity, honesty, and sincerity are “luxuries” worth preserving, not habits of deceiving one’s conscience. Because deceit is lowly, complicated, and entangled.

A yoga practitioner should strive to be honest, in order to avoid feelings of guilt. And choose to live simply. In doing so, they will be filled with light and be loved.
