Let's study online!

What is TTC Online Recording

Teacher Training Course conducted online via recording. About 80% of the material

taught will be recording. You will study yourself through the access we provide, via online. Access given is quite long, around 2-3 months. So you can set the learning time that suits your busy life. And then there will be a meeting to discuss tasks, and discussions about things that

are not yet understood. This meeting is through live zoom, with a duration of approximately 2-3 hours per meeting. For the 50 HRS program, a meeting will be held 3 times, and the time will be mutually agreed upon.

What are the requirements for following TTC rercording online?

This TTC can be followed by anyone, from all levels of Yoga Practice. And technically it is very easy to do. You only need to prepare gadgets (laptops or even enough mobile phones). And more importantly is you already know Yin Yoga, and have participated in the Yin Yoga class. So that the learning process is easier. You also need to prepare yoga props such as Yoga mat, bolster, soft block (2 pcs) and rope. Just that.

Why TTC Recording Online?

Pandemic teaches us many things, including the culture of doing online activities. Of course not everything can be done via online but Yoga Yoga TTC can be done via online, why?

  • The material learned will be conveyed more clearly. You can even play back recording whenever you like.

  • Learning time is more flexible and longer duration. So you can learn more comfortable. Without the need for extra money for traveling and accommodation, and even you still have income from your job (without having to take day OFF). It makes this course cheaper. And not much energy draining.

  • International certified from Yoga Alliance.

  • You can learn yoga from favorite schools around the world.

  • After you complete this TTC, you still have full access to Teacher.

Is this TTC scheduled, or can it be done private?

For now you can follow private 1 on 1 or group. Especially when holding a live zoom meeting.

What do you get from this TTC Recording Online?

  • Guidebook (Module Book)

  • Access recording for 2-3 months.

  • E-certificate.

  • Direct access to teacher via online zoom/ e-mail/ whatsapp chat.

  • Access to be registered at Yoga Alliance (excluding registration fees).

Glimpse of Module - 1 :

Listen to Your Body

The lifestyle of modern society requires us to always move quickly, compete to be the best, and sometimes even push ourselves beyond the limits of our abilities. Various kinds of diseases also eventually appear along with our lifestyle which is full of pressure.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) says that we can actually avoid disease when internal energy is able to circulate smoothly in the body and the energy from the mind is focused and concentrated, not fragmented.

In Yin Yoga TT 50H module 1 we will discuss:

  • 12 Meridians (energy pathways) based on Traditional Chinese Medicine.

  • Characteristics of each meridian along with symptoms/signs to recognize problems with the meridians.

  • Five elements from a Chinese Medicine perspective are connected to Meridians.

  • Meridian body clock.

  • Marma Therapy: provides therapy at certain points in the body that affect the function of the Nadi (meridians) and Chakras.

  • Yin yoga poses based on meridians.

  • Anatomy: lower body and spine.

  • Create class sequences.

  • Study our own constitution according to the Five Elements from the perspective of Indian Tradition (Ayurveda).

Glimpse of Module - 2 :

Unwind and Letting Go

The practice of yoga today has developed so rapidly. We may start our yoga practice with the intention of becoming healthier, reducing stress, or because we want to find positive associations. With regular yoga practice we try to train ourselves to focus our awareness both on the physical body and more subtle forms such as the breath, the flow of energy in our body and the state of mind.

To have a healthy body requires a balance between the performance of the physical body (Yang) and also the more subtle, invisible aspects (Yin). Adding practices that are calmer/quiet (Yin) will help us to understand more about our physical/emotional/mental states so that we are able to let go of negative things and be able to navigate the ups and downs of life more calmly.

In Yin Yoga Teacher Training “Unwind and Letting Go” we will discuss:

  • Yin yoga theory and daily practice. Apply knowledge of energy pathways (meridians) and the theory of fascia to the practice of yin and yang yoga.

  • Pranayama. Doing regular pranayama practice will help us to improve the flow of energy in the body.

  • Nidra Meridian. With relaxation techniques assisted by visualization to help flow energy (Chi) along the meridians (energy pathways).

  • Ayurveda, is a medical science originating from India which is as old as traditional Chinese medicine. We will learn diet patterns that are suitable for our body type so that we can optimize our health.

  • Myofascial Release, a technique that helps release tension or fixation that occurs in connective tissue (fascia / connective tissue).

  • Fascia theory, helps understand our body more thoroughly, not just in layers of muscles and bones. Because many cases of injury or pain occur in the fascia (connective tissue).

  • Sequencing: learn to create class sequences, both yin yoga and yin-yang yoga classes.

  • Anatomy: to get a good knowledge of our physical body. So that we can understand the benefits we can get from the yoga practice that we do.

A Glimpse of Module - 3 :

Earth & Sky

Yin and Yang are two qualities that are always present in everything. These are two characteristics that are opposite to each other but are interdependent and cannot exclude one another.

We live between earth and sky. Put your dreams and aspirations as high as the sky. Pursuing perfection with all our efforts, while keeping our feet planted on the earth. Maintaining a balance between doing maximum effort while remaining grounded and feeling satisfied with what we already have, enjoying the process rather than just focusing on the end goal. Balance between effort and surrender.

In the third Module “Earth and Sky” we will learn to find balance between Yin and Yang by not exalting one and devaluing the other.

  • Joint anatomy: Yin Yoga focuses a lot on training joint flexibility safely so that joint fluid is maintained. Yang Yoga trains the strength of the joints. We will study the anatomy of joints to gain a better understanding.

  • Introduction to Prenatal Yoga: as a yoga teacher we may encounter pregnant students in our public yoga classes. Here we will get to know prenatal yoga so that we can provide yoga classes that are still safe for pregnant women.

  • Pranayama: in this TTC the pranayama (breathing exercises) that we will learn are several pranayamas that are also safe for pregnant women to do.

  • Emotion and Disease: understanding several diseases or problems in the body from a psychological and emotional perspective. And from the perspective of Traditional Chinese Medicine (meridians) which helps us utilize Yin Yoga poses to help understand and release negative emotions so that the healing process occurs.

  • Yin and Yang Yoga: understand the differences in function and relationship between Yin and Yang Yoga

  • Introduction to Hatha-Vinyasa: introduction to the Hatha - Vinyasa sequence to combine with the Yin Yoga sequence.

  • Wall Yin practice: get to know several Yin Yoga poses that can be done with the help of a wall.

A Glimpse of Module - 4 :

Replenish The Chi

From the philosophy of Yin and Yang, Yin represents a silent, calm, passive, meditative character; while Yang represents an active, dynamic, fighting, and competitive character.

In the Yin yoga teacher training series (200 H), at TTTC modules 1 - 3 put a lot of emphasis on the scientific side both from the perspective of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, and anatomy along with the balance of Yin and Yang exercises and related emotions.

In TTC module 4 we will prioritize the qualities of silence, calm, contemplation and meditation in Yin Yoga.

The materials that will be discussed are:

  • Quiet practice of Yin yoga: doing a quieter and quieter Yin Yoga practice.

  • Meditation and Pranayama: theory and practice.

  • Yoga philosophy: discusses the basic philosophy of yoga such as astanga yoga (8 stages of yoga) and integrating yoga in our daily lives.

  • Bio-Psychology of Yoga: discusses the glands in the body, chakra theory which discusses character, color and sound.

  • Yoga Nidra: theory and practice. Yoga nidra is an art of relaxation or known as yogic sleeping, which is believed to help overcome mental and emotional problems that are often faced by people today.

  • Flow yoga practice: a more specific yoga practice to prepare someone to do Thai Yoga Massage (based on Zen Thai Shiatsu massage)

  • Thai Yoga Massage (by Made Agus Wirayasa): a massage technique that is very good to apply to complement our yoga practice. It is ideal to do 1:1 private yoga.

  • Sequencing: learn how to create a sequence in Yin Yoga.
